Mons Youth Hostel
The Mons Youth Hostel enjoys an unparalleled location in the city centre: it lies beneath the Belfry, about a hundred metres from the Grand Place or main square.
Near all the facilities, including the station and shops, this modern hostel is at the heart of the major events in Mons, such as the famous Doudou procession and festival of St George held on Trinity Sunday every year.
The Mons Youth Hostel serves as a preferred starting point from which to explore the region and visit Pairi Daiza, the PASS, the boat lifts, etc.
The Mons Youth Hostel offers numerous stays for groups with or without activities. Among friends, as a family or with your school, make the most of young, friendly accommodation full of good cheer!
Group stays in our hostels offer the opportunity to explore new cultures, to take part in a host of activities, and to visit a wide range of tourist attractions.
The Mons Youth Hostel offers the following facilities:
- Private rooms for accompanying staff and drivers;
- Equipped meeting rooms/classrooms;
- Full catering service, including take-away picnics for activities;
- Team of professionals to listen to your specific needs.
You can choose between a group stay with or without activities.
Stays with activities are traditionally intended for school groups, but any other kind of group can request to take part in activities that we have prepared.
Stays with activities: the best there is for schools!
Our activities programmes are run by a team of teachers and professional activity leaders. These programmes are drawn up in consultation with your group leader and our staff.
The brochure on our stays with activities available in all the youth hostels gives the titles of each of the programmes and the pages that refer to the Socles de Compétences or the Compétences terminales et savoirs requis, official documents from schools in the Wallonia-Brussels Federation.
Our educational adviser is the person to contact if you have any questions about the stays with activities, but you can, of course, also contact the activities team at the youth hostel of your choice directly, or consult the specific programmes via the links below:
